جلالة الملك عبدالله الثاني يلتقي الأمين العام للأمم المتحدة أنطونيو غوتيريش على هامش اجتماعات الجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة في نيويورك، بحضور سمو الأمير الحسين بن عبدالله الثاني ولي العهد. ويؤكد جلالته الحاجة لتكثيف الجهود الدولية لاستعادة الاستقرار في الإقليم، واللجوء إلى الدبلوماسية والحوار لحل النزاعات، ويشدد على أن المنطقة لن تنعم بالاستقرار دون منح الفلسطينيين كامل حقوقهم المشروعة وقيام الدولة الفلسطينية المستقلة على أساس حل الدولتين.

 

His Majesty King Abdullah II, accompanied by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein, meets with United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres on the sidelines of the 81st UN General Assembly in New York. His Majesty calls on the international community to step up efforts to restore regional stability and prioritise diplomacy and dialogue to resolve conflicts, stressing that lasting regional stability is impossible without securing the full, legitimate rights of Palestinians and establishment of an independent Palestinian state on the basis of the two-state solution.
