نيروز الإخبارية : The Jordanian-Bulgarian relations represent an advanced model of balanced Arab-European relations, built on a historical legacy spanning more than six decades of mutual respect, regular political consultation, and high-level coordination on various regional and international issues of common interest. Both countries share a strategic vision calling for the consolidation of security and stability in the Middle East, supporting comprehensive peace efforts, and combating terrorism and extremism. This is alongside mutual coordination in international forums, the halls of the United Nations, and its affiliated institutions, to facilitate and develop the mechanisms of the Jordanian partnership with the European Union. These relations derive their strategic and dynamic depth through the pivotal and leading role played by the "Bulgarian-Jordanian Chamber for Economic Cooperation" as a fundamental pillar of economic diplomacy. The Chamber has worked to translate political understandings into practical and tangible projects and partnerships by signing strategic agreements and memorandums of understanding with key Jordanian economic and industrial sectors, most notably the Amman Chamber of Industry and the Jordanian Construction Contractors Association, as well as close cooperation with the Special Operations Forces Exhibition and Conference (SOFEX) and various Jordanian exhibitions to promote and market Bulgarian products and industries in Jordanian and regional markets. This trajectory recorded a landmark turning point represented in organizing and hosting an integrated Bulgarian Trade Week in Amman in 2002, which provided Bulgarian industry and expertise a direct presence and opportunity to showcase their products in Jordan. Today, these economic efforts are renewed through launching the initiative and future vision calling for holding an investment and economic forum for Jordanian businesspeople in Bulgaria, and a similar forum for Bulgarian businesspeople in Jordan to build new bridges of investment and commercial integration. This economic system integrates with a broad and precise network of the ten fundamental twinning agreements concluded between Jordanian and Bulgarian cities and municipalities, which include: Amman and Sofia, Jerash and Sliven, Borma and Sungurlare, Ajloun and Parvomay, Petra and Plovdiv, Madaba and Tundzha, Salt and Pazardzhik, Karak and Veliko Tarnovo, Aqaba and Varna, and Zarqa and Pleven. These twinnings form genuine avenues for local development, cultural, tourism, and administrative exchange, with continuous efforts and initiatives led by the Bulgarian-Jordanian Chamber for Economic Cooperation to conclude new twinning agreements with other Jordanian and Bulgarian cities to expand the scope of popular and municipal diplomacy. This honorable journey culminates in the analytical evaluation and exceptional national experience of the first Jordanian consul to officially represent the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in Sofia by Royal Decree. The Consulate was not merely an administrative diplomatic mission, but a towering national institution that played a historic and pivotal role in safeguarding the interests of the homeland, the expatriate community, and Jordanian students, serving as an inclusive umbrella for diaspora members, and embodying the concept of comprehensive diplomacy that unites political work, social care, and economic promotion for Jordan. Decades of field work have proven that sincere national representation, driven by belonging, initiative, and direct communication with various forces and entities in the host country, is the primary driver for transforming official relations between nations into established, sustainable community and economic strategic partnerships that serve the aspirations of both friendly peoples and open promising horizons for a more cooperative and prosperous future.
