Orange Money, the e-wallet owned by Orange Jordan, signed a strategic partnership agreement with ADSTRA to provide advanced Anti-Money Laundering and Combating the Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT) solutions powered by AI mechanisms. This step reflects Orange Money’s ongoing commitment to strengthening the security of its services while ensuring a safe and reliable FinTech ecosystem, in line with relevant regulatory requirements and standards.

The agreement was signed by the Chairman of Orange Money, Eng. Philippe Mansour, and the Founder and CEO of ADSTRA, Mohammad Bdair, in the presence of the CEO of Orange Money, Eng. Hiba Al Shareef, and representatives from both parties, on the sidelines of the Jordan FinTech Festival 2026.

Under this agreement, both parties will cooperate to enhance the security and reliability for customers. It further entails Orange Money adopting advanced, intelligent systems for screening its users’ name against sanctions lists, assessing customer risk, and enhancing AML/CFT capabilities, helping to mitigate financial crime risks. This contributes to safeguarding their financial transactions and reinforcing the compliance framework in line with relevant national and international regulatory requirements and standards. 

The Chairman of Orange Money, Eng. Philippe Mansour, affirmed the significance of this collaboration with ADSTRA, emphasizing that investing in innovative AML/CFT solutions aligns with Orange Money’s commitment, as Jordan’s leading e-wallet and one of its largest payment service providers, to enhancing the safety and reliability of its services. He noted that this partnership represents a major milestone in the continuous enhancement of its digital infrastructure and the strengthening of customer trust, keeping pace with the rapid growth in the use of digital financial services in the Kingdom.
